Rules

The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of the online store must stipulate the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a stipulation is called a distance contract/agreement (MK regulations).

Distance contract/agreement

The seller of the goods offered in this Online Store, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order.

Delivery and payment procedures

The Buyer places an order for goods through this online store, indicating the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the option of paying for the goods using the payment tools built into the Online Store or by paying the invoice corresponding to the order prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.

The Seller ensures delivery of goods within 15 days of receipt of payment for the goods. Delivery is made on weekends according to the Seller's pre-determined delivery schedule. The delivery schedule is published on the Seller's Facebook page: Foodie shop

Right of withdrawal

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to food products, beverages or other goods intended for immediate household consumption.

The right of withdrawal applies if the Seller has delivered a poor-quality or damaged product. If this has happened, the Buyer must send the following information to [email protected]:

order number;
product name;
problem description;
visual aids: photos and/or videos

After receiving the information, the Seller will analyze the problem and offer a solution to the problem for each situation separately.

Data processing

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she has read and agrees that the data provided by him/her is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the specified e-mail address.

Purchase of alcoholic beverages and age verification procedure

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased in our store by persons who have reached the age of majority. We reserve the right to require you to present identification documents upon our request so that we can verify your age. Age verification may be performed by our delivery driver or a courier service (DPD, DHL) delivery employee upon our company's request.
